The main purpose of Booties by Bri is to provide a pair of handmade booties to new parents who can’t have family or friends around because of the COVID-19 pandemic. Right now, we’re all struggling with our own versions of COVID life indoors. While there are some things we can adjust or put on hold, babies will continue to be born.
For Parents
This is a beautiful, proud moment in your life that currently can’t be shared in person as we all shelter in place. Your new baby deserves a free pair of booties to keep their feet warm, and their heart full. You deserve to have your new baby swaddled with love via handmade booties.

For Family and Friends
Giving a pair of booties is a small reminder that you, and other loved ones, are thinking about the new parents and baby during this global crisis. While you can't physically visit, the warmth the booties will provide the new baby's feet is a physical manifestation of the love and hugs you want to bestow upon the child.
For Knitters
Booties by Bri provides you with the pattern to make your own booties for those that you love. If you want to make booties for the Booties by Bri project, you can do that as well. Check out the FAQ for the pattern and information on getting involved.

For People Who Want to Give Back
Don't know anyone having a baby and don't knit? Your donations help keep this running. This is a non-profit project. Your dollars help get more booties to parents of new babies at no cost to them. All donations go towards operating costs only — Booties by Bri has no profits. Costs include yarn, shipping materials, shipping, and keeping the site functional. Any excess dollars will be donated when the project is complete.
